I was first licensed in 1956 as KN2UTV, then K2UTV. In 1963, I moved to Connecticut to work at ARRL Hq and became W1BGD. As soon as I could qualify for a two letter call, I became W1RM. I am a founding member and first president of CWops, a member and Vice President of FOC, and a member of the Yankee Clipper Contest Club, the Marconi Club, and the CWJF Group.
